Sherbet director pitches London taxis as brand media

Michael Eades of Sherbet London cites visitor numbers and offers tracked advertising on licensed taxis.

Michael Eades, director at Sherbet London, posted on Saturday 24 October 2026 an invitation to put a business or a brand on a licensed London taxi, appearing on busy streets, outside major attractions, in business districts and across recognisable parts of the capital.

The audience in the post

These are the figures in the post, attributed there to London Tourism Statistics (2026), updated in September 2026. London attracted 20.7 million international visitors in 2024. In 2025 the capital recorded 15.8 million domestic overnight trips and 182 million day trips. More than 9 million people call London home, with a larger audience across Greater London.

A symbol of Britain

Eades wrote: "Licensed London taxis are a brand in their own right. Recognised around the world, they're more than just an iconic vehicle. They're a symbol of Britain, backed by the exceptional knowledge and standards required of London's licensed taxi drivers."

London taxis have a history stretching back centuries and are woven into the fabric of the capital. A brand on the vehicle would travel through the heart of London and become part of the London landscape.

What advertisers are offered

Sherbet London taxi campaigns can be tracked, with campaign insights and performance data so an advertiser can understand reach and measure impact. Businesses are invited to make contact for an introduction to the firm's media team.
