About TaxiFeed
TaxiFeed publishes news for taxi and private hire drivers, operators and licensing staff.
What we publish
Licensing changes, fares, court cases and trade disputes are published by councils, courts and other newsrooms. TaxiFeed reads those documents and writes its own account for working drivers. Where a council paper, a court report or a statute is public, the figures, dates and charges in the article are checked against it, and the source is linked.
Coverage includes UK licensing and enforcement, fares and vehicle rules, and taxi and private hire news from abroad when it bears on the trade.
What this site is not
An article on TaxiFeed is not a council notice, a court record or legal advice. A licence condition or a sentence is whatever the licensing authority or the court has issued. If a story affects your licence, your insurance or a case you are in, read the linked source and check it with that authority.
TaxiFeed does not claim that its news is complete, or that every development in the trade will appear here.
