Volkswagen has started production of an upgraded Caddy in Poland — a high-roof MPV long used by UK taxi and private hire fleets.
Reporting says a revised front apron, new alloys and four extra metallic colours, plus a free-standing 12.9-inch display, Digital Cockpit Pro as standard and wireless phone charging. Petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid options remain; the Caddy eHybrid pairs a 1.5 TSI with electric drive for over 620km total WLTP range and up to about 76 miles electric (up to ~89 miles urban). Flexible and Cargo variants continue, with a conversion market for wheelchair access. Exact UK prices and specs are still pending. More than 500,000 fifth-generation Caddys have been sold worldwide.
