Scottish Fire and Rescue Service gave STV this account. "We were alerted at 4.24pm on Tuesday, October 20, to reports of a vehicle fire on Park Place, Elie. Operations Control mobilised one appliance to the area where firefighters worked to extinguish a fire affecting a small minivan. There were no reports of casualties, and crews left after ensuring the area was safe."
