Perth Taxi Association is heading for temporary suspension after its chairman, vice-chairman and several committee members left with no replacements.
The Daily Record reports former chair Sandy Smith of Perth Radio Taxis cited lack of time running a large firm. Outgoing vice-chair Kevin Kulik said both announced they would stand down and other members followed, leaving “little choice” but to warn of a pause unless someone “puts their head above the parapet.” John Patterson and George Fraser echoed calls for fresh faces. The outgoing group still wants a collective trade voice. Perth and Kinross Council said it will keep consulting the trade widely.
