A new UK subscription service, Driving Health, is offering taxi and other professional drivers remote GP access, mental-health support and Group 2 health monitoring.
Reporting says the launch targets long/irregular shifts that make clinic visits hard. The National Taxi & Private Hire Driver Survey 2024/25 found more than a third said work hurt physical wellbeing, over a quarter cited mental-health impacts, and more than half saw a sector mental-health crisis; average hours were about 45 a week and 35,000+ work miles a year. Medical director Dr Phill Mars said the service aims at earlier, proactive care. Subscription prices were not published; fleets and insurers are being invited to partner.
