Cresta Cars donates 5p per app booking to local charities

Chester and North Wales firm’s Cresta Cares scheme has raised £663 for Rupert’s Rainbow so far.

Cresta Cars, a North Wales taxi firm now serving Chester, is turning app bookings into small charity donations.

Founded in 2019 by Xristos Tsorvas, Mark Coates and Amanda Willetts, the company says it runs more than 270 vehicles and opened a Chester office on Brook Street in January 2025 beside the railway station.

Cresta Cares

Under Cresta Cares, 5p from every Cresta Cars app booking goes to a selected local charity or cause. The firm says the scheme has already generated a £663 donation to Rupert’s Rainbow.

Cresta also highlights local drivers, office walk-in bookings, accessible and executive vehicles, and support for Chester Students’ Union, Chester Pride and community events. The coverage is an advertised feature promoting the operator’s community work.
