Stephen Swallow, 42, is remanded after CCTV allegedly showed an imitation firearm threat outside Ace Cabs.

A 42-year-old Doncaster man has been charged after police say he brandished a BB gun outside a city-centre taxi office.

What police say happened

South Yorkshire Police said officers were called after an incident outside Ace Cabs in Sunny Bar on Saturday night, 5 September.

CCTV footage published by the Doncaster Free Press appears to show a man raising a weapon and making threats towards an employee as he walks past.

A force spokesperson said Swallow was charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence after allegedly being in possession of a BB gun.
