Police Scotland say concern is growing for a man who travelled by taxi from Glasgow to a forested area of Dumfries and Galloway.
Piotr Klusek, 44, took a taxi from Glasgow Central station to Glentrool on Wednesday 2 September 2026. He was last seen in Glentrool at about 5.30pm that day.
Search appeal
Chief Inspector Stuart Dougan said Mr Klusek had not been seen for several days and that inquiries showed he used a taxi service from the train station.
He is described as medium build with a beard, wearing a black checked zip jacket and carrying a small cross-body bag when last seen. Officers have been searching Glentrool Forest and asked dog walkers and anyone in the area to come forward.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3876 of 4 September 2026.
