Lisbon airport taxis get fixed €16–€28 fares from 15 October

Self-regulation protocol with city, FPT and ANTRAL; card/MB Way mandatory; rank accreditation.

Taxis from Lisbon’s Humberto Delgado Airport will charge fixed zone fares between €16 and €28 from 15 October under a self-regulation protocol.

Portugal Resident / Lusa report Lisbon City Council signing with the Portuguese Taxi Federation and ANTRAL, plus ANA and Lisbon Tourism. Daytime zone 1 (nearer parishes) is €16 and zone 2 €19; nights, weekends and holidays rise to €20/€23, with higher rates for more than four passengers (up to €28). Vouchers expand via tourism desks; participating cabs must take cards and MB Way with no payment surcharge, and only accredited plate-registered vehicles access the rank. Prices are association-set, not yet a municipal regulation; council commits to drafting one. August PSP checks found 67 violations in about 100 taxis.
