A Arizona man has been sentenced to 24 years for a drunken Gilbert crash that killed a Lyft driver, her passenger and a service dog.
Robb Louis Hintzsche, 36, pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree murder after slamming into Nicole Snell’s Lyft at Recker and Ray roads just after 9pm on 19 September 2025. Maricopa County prosecutors say he ran a red light at over 90mph in a 45mph zone with blood alcohol 0.287% — more than three times the legal limit — spinning the car into a pole. Passenger Marisa Jorgenson, 33, a mother of two, and Snell’s dog Bellini also died. He received consecutive 12-year terms (24 years total).
