25,000 Hyderabad airport cabs off road in aggregator boycott

TGPWU vs Uber, Ola, Rapido over GO Ms.No.46 fares — claim ₹12–15/km vs notified ₹21.

About 25,000 cabs stayed off Rajiv Gandhi International Airport runs after Telangana gig drivers boycotted Uber, Ola and Rapido from 10 September.

Deccan Chronicle quotes TGPWU founder Shaik Salauddin saying drivers get ₹12–15 per km against ₹21 under G.O.Ms.No.46 for prepaid airport motor-cab hiring. After an 31 August labour meeting, the Joint Commissioner advised the three platforms to implement those fares; unions say implementation has not followed. Drivers also object to longer free drop-off windows that trigger ₹500 overtime penalties. Airport authorities said operations remained normal.
